With it’s rolling hilltops, vast valleys and stretching coastline, Los Angeles is known for its breathtaking views. While we know your trip is jam packed with business meetings, must-see tourist attractions and other obligations, be sure to take some time to stop and smell the roses…or at least get some great photos to commemorate your trip to sunny Los Angeles.
Here are just a few of our favorite places:
Santa Monica Pier – Stroll out to the Santa Monica Pier, watch the sunset over the water and see the landscape of the diverse coastline. Or better yet, hop on the Ferris wheel to catch a bird’s eye view of the action.
The Grove – Yes, it is a very gorgeous outdoor mall featuring a movie theater, popular clothing stores and great eats. But, from the top of the parking structure you can catch a great view of the city, and all of its surroundings.
Runyon Canyon – If you’re into hiking, take 30 minutes to walk up the mountain (approx. 2.5 miles.) You won’t be disappointed. With its view of downtown, the Hollywood Hills, and on a clear day, the coastline, you won’t regret having had broken a sweat.
Yamashiro Hollywood – This popular Japanese restaurant, located high in the Hollywood Hills boasts an exotic view of the scene below. Visit for an evening dinner and catch a view of all that glistens and gleams in Hollywood nightlife.
The Standard Downtown – Enjoy a couple of cocktails at this popular lounge, located on the hotel’s rooftop, and be engulfed by the eclectic feel and breathtaking view of downtown.
The Penthouse at the Huntley Hotel – If you’d like to catch the view from the comfort of the indoors, venture to this ultra swanky lounge and restaurant, situated on the 18th floor of the Huntley Hotel. You’ll enjoy an extraordinary view of the California coastline while sipping on your favorite cocktail.
The list could go on for days if we were to list all of the spectacular views one could find within Los Angeles city’s limits. Whether you choose to take a drive, hike or visit a nice restaurant, we hope you take some time to relax and catch some of the amazing sites. Of course, if you need any ideas on where to go, the friendly staff at the Tangerine Hotel in Burbank is always here to help.
